World of Self, Family and Friends
Focus    Listening
Topic : Friends (COLOURS)
Language/ Grammar focus: Point to something (green) …Colours: blue, green, yellow, red, white
Main Content Standard:  1.2 Understand meaning in a variety of familiar contexts
Com. Content Standard:  4.1 Form letters and words in neat legible print using cursive writing
Main Learning Standard: 1.2.4 Understand short basic supported classroom instructions
Com. Learning Standard: 4.1.2 i) Form upper and lower case letters of regular size and shape        
 ii) write letters and words in a straight line from left to right with regular spaces between words and spaces iii) copy letters and familiar high frequency words and phrases correctly
CROSS CURRICULAR ELEMENT : Language
LEARNING OBJECTIVE(S):  By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to
1.  Understand and able to identify at least 3 colours.
2.  write and form letters and words neatly.
